Rubaiyat Saudi enters UAE market with German brand worth Dhs1.6b

Rubaiyat, Saudi Arabia’s most renowned retailer created by Abdullah Binzagr and family, introduces ORSAY, a German fashion brand, to the UAE.

ORSAY stands for young, fashionable, good value outfits, in which women can express their individual femininity at all times.

With around 640 shops present in 30 countries, ORSAY which is worth 420million euros (Dhs1.65 billion) opened its flagship store in Dubai, located at The Persian Court in Ibn Batuta Mall, followed by another store in Sharjah.

In a special opening ceremony highlighted by a fashion show featuring the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection, ORSAY introduced its line of feminine fashion targeting women customers who are not afraid to express their individual femininity through their outfits.

Antoun Abou Jaoude, Vice President Marketing, Rubaiyat, said: “As an established representative of more than 60 international luxury brands in Saudi Arabia, we are delighted to announce the launch of ORSAY into the UAE. ORSAY will cater to the UAE market where women freely express their taste and style in fashion. ORSAY will offer in the region a well-coordinated product mix from Europe and Asia, resulting in a wide and constantly up-to-date selection of feminine outfits at an excellent ratio of style, quality and price We have initially opened two shops in the UAE and we are looking to expand the outlets in the coming years.”
