Russia registers 3,464 new COVID-19 cases, 49 deaths in past 24 hours

Russia has registered 3,464 new COVID-19 cases, as well as 1,266 hospitalisations and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said on Friday.

"Another 2,787 patients have recovered, down 12.3% from July 7," the headquarters was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 18,455,274 cases, including 381,499 deaths and 17,882,978 recoveries.
