Abu Dhabi’s premier leisure and entertainment hub receives a total of 25 health and safety certifications
Theme parks and attractions at Yas Island Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi’s premier leisure and entertainment hub, has been awarded the ‘Go Safe’ certification by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall, as well as W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island and all Yas Plaza hotels. After receiving the certification, Yas Island’s hotels and attractions added the new safety certification to its portfolio.
The new safety certification comes as part of Yas Island’s commitment to bolstering guests’ confidence, whilst reassuring their safety and well-being. The world-class destination had also received the coveted WTTC ‘Safe Travels’ stamp by the World Travel & Tourism Council in August 2020, marking Yas Island as the first destination in Abu Dhabi to receive the international honor.
All hotels on Yas Island have received the WTTC stamp and are ‘Go Safe’ certified, and have received certifications of their own, including the IHG Clean Certificate (Crown Plaza and Staybridge Suites) and the RHG SGS certificate (Radisson Blu, Park Inn). W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island was also the first hotel in the UAE to receive the ‘Go Safe’ accreditation.
One of the leading testing and certification bodies in the world, TÜV SÜD, also provided COVID-19 compliance certificates for the island’s award-winning attractions, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi.
To date, Yas Island has introduced numerous safety measures such as the widely commended ‘Yas Wellness Program’ and the ‘#TogetherAtYas’ platform.
‘#TogetheratYas’ is an online platform that offers guests a guide to the comprehensive safety measures on Yas Island and is a one-stop shop for all the responsible and fun experiences on Yas Island.
Launched as part of ‘#TogetherAtYas’, the Yas Wellness Program is a comprehensive wellness program that was created in addition to the island’s enhanced hygiene and social distancing measures, granting guests direct access to a dedicated team of Yas Wellness ambassadors.
The Wellness Ambassadors are a team of specially trained individuals who are able to answer guests’ queries on the health and safety measures in place at the reopened Yas theme parks, hotels and attractions, as well as answers questions regarding openings and closures. In order to continually bridge guests to Yas Island, the Ambassadors can be contacted via phone, social media, WhatsApp and email from 8am to 5pm daily.
Yas Island Abu Dhabi’s team is highly dedicated to meeting and exceeding global safety measures, whilst closely monitoring and following safety guidelines listed out by UAE authorities.
