Expanding its subcontinent profile, Sultanate’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, SalamAir, has announced direct flight service to Colombo, one of the most vibrant cities of Sri Lanka. The Colombo route is the airline’s seventh destination in the subcontinent, which includes Dhaka, Kathmandu, Karachi, Multan, Sialkot and Chattogram (Chittagong).
The Muscat-Colombo direct route marks SalamAir’s first entry into the Sri Lankan market.
Scheduled to commence on December 24th, 2019, the new link will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Muscat at 2:40 local time and arriving in Colombo at 8:10 local time. The flight will depart Colombo at 9:10 local time arriving in Muscat at 12:10 local time. One-way tickets to Colombo are now available at a special promotional fare of OMR 45.

Colombo, Sri Lanka's bustling commercial hub, is by far the country's biggest city as well as the most developed.
