Saudi Arabia aims to lead positive change locally, globally under Vision 2030: Minister

Saudi Arabia plans to lead positive change locally and globally, under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030, Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, told the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. 

He added that the Kingdom employed sustainability in Saudi Vision 2030 that adopts the principles specified in the sustainable development goals.

Through this vision, the country is working to diversify the economy, develop clean technology in the main sectors, as well as protect and enhance the environment locally.

In addition, the state is working to improve the quality of life, raise living standards, and lead innovation, Alibrahim noted.

He added that the Kingdom will unswervingly follow the path of sustainable development, which is the only way to preserve the planet
