Saudi Arabia’s dates exports hit SAR 1.7B in 2024

The value of Saudi dates exports reached about SAR 1.7 billion in 2024, up 16% year-on-year, with an exported quantity of 1.9 million tons, the National Center for Date Palm and Dates (NCPD) said, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GSTAT).

 

Saudi dates have achieved a remarkable spread in international markets, with their exports reaching 133 countries around the world, with an increase in value by 15.9% compared to 2023, SPA reported, citing a statement from NCPD.

 

In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its pivotal role in enhancing non-oil revenues, Saudi dates exports have witnessed a radical transformation. Since 2016, the value of the Kingdom's dates exports has increased by 192.5% until 2024.
