Winners of the 4th Excellence Award in e-learning will be honored on Monday by Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, education minister and chairman of the National Center for e-Learning (NCeL), at the Education Ministry in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the ceremony, he will also launch the Saudi Resources Network for Open Educational Resources (Shams) and the 5th Excellence Award in e-Learning.
The event will be attended by university rectors, directors of education departments, and representatives of winning institutions.
Shams, one of the NCeL’s most important initiatives, will provide resources and expertise, and will be one of the largest Arabic educational networks, said NCeL General Manager Abdullah Al-Megren.
