Set to run from 17-19 March at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, the definitive hospital infrastructure event in Saudi Arabia will convene the growing healthcare infrastructure industry in the country, as well as electrical energy professionals, industry stakeholders, and ministry of health representatives. The event comes at a time when the GCC region, faced with a surge in population and growing medical demands, is making significant investments in smart healthcare technology and infrastructure. A Deloitte healthcare systems study reveals that the Saudi government has prioritised health care infrastructure, in line with its 2015 budget that earmarks funding for 27 new hospitals. The country has been constantly increasing government healthcare expenditure since 2009.
