SFA introduced the ultimate mud and obstacle course to the Kingdom
Event will take place on 25th November 2022, at the Dirab Golf & Country Club
The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) has invited people across the country to take on Tough Mudder: the ultimate mud and obstacle course. Set to be hosted at Dirab Golf & Country Club, Riyadh, on 25th November 2022, the event will bring communities together to get fit and active outdoors.
An endurance event like no other, Tough Mudder is designed to help participants overcome challenges — including their fear of water and heights — and sharpen their teamwork skills. It provides people the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing and put their physical skills to the test while socializing and taking on an exciting range of obstacle courses — which they will be tasked with navigating by running, climbing, and crawling.
Open to people of all ages, the event will challenge adult participants to complete a 5 km or 10 km course with over 21 obstacles. Kids under the age of 13 will be given the opportunity to take part in the age-appropriate Mini Mudder: a 1.5 km course with more than eight obstacles.
Fully aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Quality of Life Program goals, Tough Mudder has been created to equip Saudi citizens and residents with the tools to safeguard their health and wellness.
The launch of the event marks the latest step taken by SFA to raise physical activity levels in the Kingdom through the provision of world-class resources, experiences, and facilities.
People and sports fans who are eager to take part in the Tough Mudder challenge can sign up for the event by visiting the Tough Mudder website — https://sfa.sa/toughmudderr— and registering online. The site provides access to all relevant information, including procedures and advice related to the event’s different races, as well as start dates, obstacle course details, forms and distances.
To register for the event, all applicants must create an account on the Premier Online platform. Ticket holders will then be able to participate in their category of choice, as well as access the celebration area, enjoy activities, get food and drinks, take professional photos and purchase an exclusive selection of sport products.
Classic ticket holders for the 10 km category will also be eligible to receive a medal for finishing in first, second or third place in their respective races. Participants will be allowed to invite their family members and friends to attend the event.
