SGI Dubai has been at the forefront of the printing and signage industry for close to 23 years and the show expects a huge turnout from the market leaders within the paper industry. The type of paper manufacturers participating in the show would cater to the needs of the short run print segments. Today the paper industry is one of the largest and growing industries in the world.
“Paper segment was always an integral part of the SGI Dubai show since inception over two decades ago. At the show we will continue to display the premium quality of paper to the trade visitors and educate them with the nuances of the right ink being used on the right paper. Currently the paper industry is being dominated by American, European and Asian companies. Latin America and Australasia also have significant paper industries. We expect companies from these regions to further expand their footprint into the Middle Eastern and African markets through our show,” added Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC, the organisers of the SGI Dubai 2020 show.
“There is a significant rise in requirement based on the growing needs of several vertical industries in Middle East and African markets. Some of these are retail, outdoor and hospitality sectors and as a result are expected to consume several tons by 2020,” added Sharif.
SGI’s last edition was a huge success with close to 330 international and regional exhibitors showcasing the latest in UV printing, textile printing, retail, LED and various signage technologies.
