Shaza Makkah Blood Donation Campaign makes a Vital Contribution to the Holy City’s Blood Bank

Shaza Makkah conducted a Blood Donation campaign on 14 July 2019 in order to make a vital contribution to the Holy City’s blood bank. Held in the hotel’s beautiful Noor Hall, the campaign also aimed at creating greater awareness of the need for citizens and residents to show care for the health and lives of others.  

 

“At Shaza Makkah we are committed to being socially responsible members of the community, which is reflected in the enthusiastic response of our employees, and also guests, who showed their willingness to help hospital patients in need of life-saving blood transfusions “We gratefully thank all the blood donors for their generous contributions, as well as the Ministry of Health for their support of the Blood Donation campaign.” ,” said Mohammed Jouni, Director of Sales at Shaza Makkah.

 

To boost their health level, donors were served with coffee, fresh fruit juices and sweets both before and after giving blood. In addition, a precautionary check assessed the condition of the donors’ blood and also ascertained the vitally important blood group.   

Each donor was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Ministry of Health, while in return the Shaza Makkah hotel presented Appreciation Certificates to the Ministry of Health employees who participated in making the Blood Donation such a gratifying success.
