Citizens can send their queries or proposals to Social Affairs Minister Majed Al-Qassabi via e-mail:webmaster@shura.gov.sa, or fax (0114413537) until Monday, the Shoura Council said.
“The minister, who will attend the sixth regular session of the council of the fourth-year work of the sixth round on Tuesday, will answer the queries and also review the observations made by the members of the council on the annual performance report of the ministry,” local media said, quoting sources.
The council is also scheduled to discuss, during its session on Monday, a report by the Management and Human Resources Committee on the annual performance of the Ministry of Civil Service for the financial year 1435/1436.
The committee has called for a discussion on the services of those who were given official jobs and their retirement benefits. In another recommendation, the committee has demanded correction of the status of those appointed on temporary basis and were given posts lower than their qualifications.
The committee has emphasized on following up on the royal decision calling for a detailed plan and time schedule for short-term and future solutions to the increasing numbers of university graduates allocated to teaching jobs, as well as the holders of health diploma certificates.
The council will vote on the recommendations made by the Haj, Housing and Services Committee on the annual report of the Saudi Organization for Industrial Estates and Technology Zones.
The council will also vote on the demand to coordinate with the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training to develop specialized training programs to qualify graduates to work in industrial cities. It will also vote on a study to establish a research center to develop national industries and support their marketing and competitive capabilities.
The other things that will come up for voting are a report of the security committee on the draft of an understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Defense and its counterpart in Finland, aimed at further cooperation in the defense field.
The agenda of the Shoura for the upcoming session include a discussion on the report of the water, agriculture and environment committee on the annual report of the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment and report of the health committee concerning a proposal to establish the draft system of the General Organization of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) submitted by female Shoura member Salwa Al-Hazaa and former Shoura member Naser Al-Shahrani.
