The National Water Company (NWC) and Advanced Technology and Cybersecurity Company (SIRAR), a subsidiary of STC Group, have signed an agreement to enhance the operational technology network in the water sector infrastructure.  The agreement is concluded under the cooperation between the two companies to provide a secure and robust technical environment to support dynamic operations.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Black Hat Conference and Exhibition, sponsored by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), held in Riyadh from 26 to 28 November 2024. In the signature, the National Water Company was represented by Majid Abdulmohsen AlJuraib, Acting (VP), IT while Fahad AlJutaily. signed for sirar by stc.

The parties said: "The agreement aims to provide digital growth solutions, provide a secure and robust technical environment to support processes to use IT solutions, artificial intelligence and cloud computing, in addition to enabling and localizing digital technologies for the benefit of the processes in the water and environmental treatment sector."

The agreement ensures that the Advanced Technology and Cybersecurity Company (SIRAR) satisfies the needs of the National Water Company through an integrated set of specialized solutions to support the protection of its networks, in line with the objectives of digital transformation and operational excellence, as well as ensuring the sustainability of operations and the quality of services provided nationally.

The agreement reflects the National Water Company's interest and commitment to adopt advanced technology solutions that meet the requirements of digital innovation and ensure the security of operational automation. This partnership enhances the realization of strategic objectives related to digital transformation through the implementation of advanced cyber solutions.
