Sports Ministry invites bidders for King Salman Stadium works

The Ministry of Sports invited experienced contracting companies to submit their bids for the pre-qualification program for the works of the fencing and signage package for King Salman Stadium.

The stadium will be implemented according to the best international systems, as it is scheduled to host major tournaments and events, and will be a major part of the King Abdulaziz Park development project, the Ministry said, in a statement.

The ministry called for the necessity of completing the questionnaire on its website, with applications to be received via e-mail. The deadline for receiving applications is 3:00 pm on November 28, 2024.

In July, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) and the Ministry of Sports unveiled the designs and future plans for King Salman Stadium and its sports facilities, data available to Argaam showed.

The stadium, with its sports and commercial facilities, will contribute to hosting the largest international and entertainment events and providing various investment opportunities.

According to Saudi Arabia's candidacy bid to host the 2034 World Cup, King Salman Stadium is set to host the opening and final matches of the tournament.
