STRIKE A POSE Back to the Maldives

Picture this. The glisten of seawater on muscle. Sand-dusted skin. Ex-model turned photographer-to-the-stars Paul Reiffer will cast his lens on a small number of very lucky Maldives holiday-goers in April at Per AQUUM’s lusciously beautiful Huvafen Fushi and NIYAMA resorts.
Paul has over 10 years’ experience shooting some of the best known faces in the world as well as ‘us mere mortals’ and is known for his distinctive style, bringing out the personality of even the toughest subject. For a limited time only, Paul is taking private photo shoot bookings as part of Per AQUUM’s Dream Calendar series.
With his favourite Phase One camera in hand, Paul will capture guests’ lust for life – from the offbeat to the avant-garde, sultry to quirky. No limits. Each shoot takes on the spirit of his subjects. Family portraits with a twist, a couple’s passionate moment in time, or the ultimate ‘anti-selfie’ – the options are free from constraints and the choice of settings wide open. Whether guests enjoy life as freedivers, seabobbers or yogis, Paul answers the call of the wild and shoots his subjects in their natural habitat.
What’s in store? Guests start the day in style with a pampering session at LIME Spa then live life like a model through a two-hour shoot with Paul, followed by signature cocktails at their resort’s most glamorous venue.
As a model, Paul donned (and disrobed) countless garments in front of the lens. Today he is clad in an infinite list of awards and honours. This year, he was made a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography (FBIPP), one of the highest accolades in the industry, and saw his work displayed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the world's longest-standing photographic exhibition held by the Royal Photographic Society.

He also holds awards and associate memberships with the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers (ASWPP), the Society of International Fashion & Glamour Photographers (ASIFGP) and the Society of International Travel & Tourism Photographers (ASITTP). From his recognition at the Professional Photographer of the Year awards in 2012 to the receipt of four individual awards in the Epson Pano awards 2014, Paul’s work continues to gain popularity and appreciation from all corners of the industry with his images constantly featuring in international exhibitions as well as being published in national newspapers around the world.
Paul will be in residence at NIYAMA from 17 to 20 April and at Huvafen Fushi from 21 to 25 April.
