All five summer internship positions offered by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), an internationally renowned management consultancy, have been secured by students of the School of Business Administration (SBA) at American University of Sharjah (AUS).
The highly coveted positions are sought after by the best and brightest business students from the region’s top universities. The SBA students securing the internships will spend the summer being trained at the global firm that specializes in cutting-edge consulting solutions.
Of the five students who will intern at the BCG Dubai office, two major in Management (Shahd Abdelhadi and Mariyam Sumaiya), two major in Management Information Systems (Saad Munaf and Adnaan Kapadia), and one is an MBA student (Anam Irfan).
The SBA students' achievement is a testament to the quality of education provided by SBA and reflects the school’s dedication to providing outstanding internship and placement opportunities to their students.
The internship and placement office at SBA bridges the gap between business students seeking opportunities and employers looking for talented and highly motivated candidates. All SBA students must attend workshops, sharpening their CV writing and interview skills. It is this intensive training that makes SBA students so well prepared for the workforce.
Speaking on the achievement, Dr. Jörg Bley, Dean of SBA, said:
“We are enormously proud of our students for securing all five of these prestigious internship positions at BCG. The firm is a terrific place for ambitious students to begin their careers and the fact that SBA students were selected for all five positions demonstrates the quality of education SBA provides. We wish our students the very best for an exciting and eye-opening journey into the corporate world.”
