SWCC and Schneider Electric to Develop Saudi Competencies towards Climate Action

Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) have announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at driving significant advancements in the fight against climate change in line with the Kingdom's 2030 Vision. The MoU was signed in the presence of the Deputy Governor of SWCC, Eng. Mamdouh Alshuaibi, and Mohamed Shaheen, Cluster President of Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Under the agreement, Schneider Electric and SWCC will work to develop Saudi competencies in managing high-efficiency operational systems and creating a carbon roadmap to implement sustainable solutions to improve operational efficiency, through full consultancy sustainable assessment as well as a series of training and development programs, workshops, and coordinated site visits.

Mohamed Shaheen, Cluster President of Schneider Electric Saudi Arabia and Yemen added: "This MoU represents a strategic alignment of resources and expertise to address some of the most pressing challenges in energy management and environmental sustainability. By combining our expertise and resources, we aim to drive substantial progress in sustainable practices and technological advancements, contributing to the Kingdom's environmental goals and global sustainability efforts."

Schneider Electric and SWCC will collaborate to develop sustainability-focused programs, with a particular emphasis on sustainable solutions and best practices in the water sector.
