The future of project management to be discussed in a global event in Riyadh

The Saudi capital, Riyadh, will host the first session of the annual two-day international event, The Global Project Management Forum (GPMF), on the 26th - 27th of June 2022 with the presence of a group of project managers, programs, from all around the world.

Under the auspices of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), The GPMF is organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chapter, under the slogan of "The Future of Project Management: Digitization and Adaptation to Change" and focuses on four themes that are: Infrastructure, Technology and innovation, Smart Cities and Social development.

The GPMF 2022 will include four events, which are a forum that hosts elite experts from around the world to participate in panel discussions and presentations, an exhibition specialized for the partners and sponsors to showcase the latest techniques in the project management field, as well as workshops to enhance and upgrade the skills of managers, and motivate young people and professional students to develop their skills, in addition to an awards ceremony for the award winners presented by the Project Management Institute in conjunction with the Global Project Management Forum.

The Experts and specialists will shed light on a great number of different subjects and topics relevant to the field of project management at both the tactical and strategic levels within the framework of the first session of the Forum. Foremost among these topics are good practices and innovative solutions, workflow process, soft skills, new technologies, diversity and sustainability, company expansion and development, in addition to suggest ways to motivate project managers to push them to achieve more success and excellence.
 

The GPMF aims to push the boundaries of the project management profession by inviting famous keynote speakers to address critical components of the project management field and provide inspiring visions for delegates on how to integrate effective project management into diverse business types.

Eng. Badr Burshid, the President of the Project Management Institute, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Branch, explained that the aim of launching the Global Project Management Forum is to expand the limits of the project management profession, by inviting experts and thought leaders from all over the world to participate in the forum as speakers, to deal with many topics and themes related to the project management sector. 

He added that the forum will provide views and perspectives on how to effectively integrate project management into various businesses, remarking that the forum seeks to Flourish the significant potential of our society, through the latest project management tools, to enhance our country's Flourishing economy, and to achieve the ambitious goals of the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.
