The Saudi Water & Electricity Forum 2016 in Riyadh 7 – 9 February

The Ministry of Water & Electricity & the CWC group will gather the government and the key players of KSA’s water and electricity industries in Riyadh 7 – 9 February to discuss the latest project developments, tenders, future plans and policy updates in these sectors.

Endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Water & Electricity, Saudi Electricity Company, National Water Company, Saline Water Conversion Corporation and Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority the Saudi Water & Electricity Forum returns to Riyadh in February and is the premier strategic meeting of the water and electricity industries of Saudi Arabia.

The water and electricity sectors in the Kingdom are both very attractive and have received increased government investment year on year. This is showing no signs of halting, particularly as Saudi Arabia ranks as the third largest consumer of water and the largest producer of desalinated water in the world. The Kingdom also boasts an extensive water transmission system and a streamlined regulatory regime. Furthermore, electricity has witnessed an increase in demand by 8% over the last decade with projects being developed or needing to be developed urgently.

The Saudi Water & Electricity Forum is the only place to ensure you are kept abreast of the opportunities which exist in these two sectors, have direct access to the key resource and stake holders and gain insights from companies already involved in the market.

His Excellency, Abdullah Al-Hussayen, Minister of Water & Electricity said, “This forum will be a platform to present and discuss the issues and challenges facing the sectors of water and electricity and to discuss the right solutions. SWEF is also an opportunity to keep abreast of the latest technologies in these areas, and come up with recommendations including innovative solutions that address the water and electricity problems in Saudi Arabia”.

With the key players of the Saudi water & electricity industries and Government decision makers under one roof, this is the must-attend event if you are looking to do business in the KSA
