Egyptian newspapers celebrated the historic visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to Egypt.
Newspapers pointed out that the Egyptian summit between King Salman and Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirm strong relations between the two countries and stress the fact that Egypt is a safety valve for the Middle East in light of the current events.
Egypt, represented in its people and leadership. celebrated the arrival of King Salman because it reflects the special relationship between the two countries.
Al-Ahram published a report about economic events during the visit which represent a new road map for cooperation between Egypt and the Kingdom in all fields. It dealt with the subject of the king's visit and its impact on Saudi-Egyptian relations.
The article described these bilateral relations as the solid nucleus for a new Arab polity after the region witnessed the collapse of ruling regimes in many countries and the emergence of terrorist militias.
The region is also witnessing the intervention of foreign parties, such as Iran, to take advantage of the chaos and widen their strategic powers in Arab countries.
Alyaum Alsabe talked about Saudi-Egyptian relations in an article called the “Decisive King in the Heart of the Egyptians.”
It said Saudi Arabia and Egypt have special relations and inherited a friendship that surpasses economics and politics because they are relations of love that are deep-rooted in many generations. The Egyptians love all that is found in Saudi Arabia.
The newspaper talked about Saudi stands with Egypt during crises which reflect support; these stands are engraved in Egyptian minds and relations have been deeply rooted since the reign of the founding King Abdul Aziz and his decedents.
Al-Watan talked about Saudi-Egyptian relations and King Salman's efforts to nurture them. The paper wrote that leaders of the two countries carried out their responsibilities and played their roles so that each state can deliver its true message in maintaining the safety and security, and the status of the Arab and Muslim world.
Al-Masri newspaper talked about King Salman and his relations with Egypt and the political challenges it faces. King Salman took the initiative after assuming power to become an important figure in war and peace in deciding the position of the Arab region. He formed two alliances, one to fight the Houthis and the other Arab Islamic alliance that involves more than 35 countries to fight terrorism.
The Kingdom also stands up to Iranian influence in Syria and continues to support the Syrian opposition to stop Iranian advancement.
Al-Mosawir published a special file about the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and put the portrait of the King Salman and El-Sisi on its front cover.
