MINI Saudi Arabia arrived at The Track, transforming the course into a MINI lover’s delight. The event saw the location transformed into a customised course for customers, media and fans of the brand to immerse themselves in the world of MINI, on and off the track.
The guests had the opportunity to experience an array of MINI lifestyle elements, including MINI stalls as well as art and culture that allowed MINI fans to meet, mingle and delve into spirit of the event in addition to taking a closer look at the flagship model the MINI Clubman.
During the event, participants had the chance to take their MINIs onto the track in addition to have some MINI driving fun and enjoy its go kart feel with three iconic MINI models - 3 and 5 Door as well as the Countryman – for a spin around the race track. The event goers also had the opportunity display their artistic side with a graffiti competition that saw contestants unleash their imagination on a MINI.
Customers had the opportunity to try out some of the latest MINI models, with the MINI 5-Door and 3-Door making their presence felt on the track with their superior performances. Both variants of the popular model have set new standards within its competitive segment in terms of legroom, headroom and boot space as well as performance, with two engine variants of BMW Group's latest generation 3 and 4-cylinder engines with TwinPower Turbo Technology.
Both models are top of the range in terms of power, with the 4-cylinder petrol engine in the MINI Cooper S 5-door achieving 192hp and the three-cylinder petrol engine boasting a peak output of 136hp. The 3-Door come in both a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine for the Cooper, with outputs of 136hp, and the Cooper S 2.0 litre 4-cylinder unit outputs 192 hp
The MINI Countryman, the first MINI with four doors and optional ALL4 all-wheel drive capabilities, was also popular with the crowd. The model comes with a 4-cylinder petrol engine with 90 kW/122 hp or 140 kW/190 hp power for the MINI Cooper Countryman and MINI Cooper Countryman ALL4 as well as the MINI Cooper S Countryman and MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4.
Present during the event the MINI flagship model the MINI Clubman, with increased length and width than its predecessor, the MINI Clubman provides plenty of space to meet the demands of youthful, urban mobility. Viewed from behind, the new MINI Clubman comes across as broad and athletic and the typical split rear doors make the MINI Clubman a six-door model. The 3 and 4-cylinder petrol engines available range from 102 hp through to 192 hp and for the first time in a MINI, the Clubman is available with an optional 8-speed Steptronic transmission.
