Empire, season 5
Season four of the hip-hop dynasty drama left fans asking “who’s in the casket?” and all will be revealed as the show returns to OSN on Tuesday 2 October, 8pm (KSA).
This Is Us, season 3
Keep your hankies close as This Is Us, the ultimate in tear-jerker TV, comes back to OSN on Monday 8 October, 9pm (KSA). The series, which centres on a unique set of triplets, their struggles and relatioships, has scooped a glut of Emmys and Golden Globes, and all the Pearson clan are back for more family drama and high emotions.
Blindspot, season 4
Blindspot focuses on a mysterious tattoed woman who is founf inside a travel bag in Times Square by the FBI, with no recollecion of her own past or her own identity. They discover that her tattoos contain clues to crime they will have to solve. Season 4 premieres on Saturday 13 October, 9pm (KSA).
Supergirl, season 4
Premiering on Wednesday, 24 October, 7pm (KSA), Supergirl, flies back to screens across the region with more caped adventures and a new villain to face. Fans of the returning DC Comics series can get their fill of action heroes on OSN as they air back-to-back on Wednesday nights with The Flash S5 returning on Wednesday 10 October, 8pm (KSA) and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow S4, returning on Wednesday 24 October at 9pm (KSA).

American Horror Story Season 8: Apocalypse
Golden Globe and Emmy winning horror anthology series is back for its eighth season on Tuesday 2 October, 10pm (KSA). This time the theme will center on the end of the world.

Factuals fans should clear their diaries for OSN’s dedicated HBO documentaries slot every Saturday at 8pm (KSA). Each week OSN premieres a lineup of thought provoking and relevant documentaries including Jane Fonda in Five Acts, Saturday 6 October;
Who Shot Biggie & Tupac, Saturday 13 October; Disconnected, a look at the rise of isolation in a digitally connected world, premiering on Saturday 20 October, and finally, on Saturday 27 October, Stolen Daughters: Kidnapped by Boko Haram, a searing investigation into the 276 school girls who were kidnapped by terrorists in Chibok, Northern Nigeria.
The Sinner, season 2
Nominated for two golden globes and an Emmy, this crime drama anthology series examines how and why ordinary people commit brutal crimes. The second season which premieres on Sunday 14 October,10pm (KSA), centres on the troubled detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman), as he returns to his home town to investigate why a young boy would kill his parents.

A brand new comedy from the creator of New Girl, Single parents follows a group of single parents who form their own support system as thei raise their kids and struggle to start new relationships. Single Parents premieres on Wednesday 3 October, 8.30pm (KSA).
Modern Family, season 10
Returning on Wednesday 3 October 8pm (KSA) is ABC’s longest-running comedy series. The show follows the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family, who live in suburban Los Angeles. An honest, often-hilarious perspective of a multicultural, traditional yet unconventional family life.
NEW: The Kids Are Alright, season 1
Starting on Saturday 20 October, 8pm (KSA), this brand new period-comedy is set in the 70s and follows a traditional Irish-Catholic couple Mike and Peggy, and their eight boisterous boys, as they navigate big and small changes during one of America’s most turbulent decades. The series is inspired by the childhood of writer and executive producer Tim Doyle.
NEW: The Conners, season 1
This spin-off from the comedy series 'Roseanne', centers on the family members of the matriarch. The Conners’ stories demonstrate that families can always find common ground through conversation, laughter, and love. Premiering on Sunday 21 October, 8pm (KSA).

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (seasons 5-10)
Premiering on Monday 1 October, 9pm (KSA), the travel and food show, hosted by the late chef Anthony Bourdain, is back on OSN Living HD with fresh episodes inspiring viewers with diverse and uncommon locations.
Hell’s Kitchen, season 15
The heat gets turned up in the kitchen for season 15 of the explosive culinary cook-off. Back on screens on Sunday 7 October, 8pm (KSA) and hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, notorious known for his fiery temper, watch each week as two teams of chefs compete for the ultimate prize: a job as head chef at a restaurant.

Our selection of Russian mini-series dubbed in Arabic continue in October with five new shows to discover. Einshtain Al Asheq, premiers on Monday 8 October, 7pm (KSA). A historical melodrama about the life of Albert Einstein, the great 20th-century physicist, and his life after the death of his wife. Also worth making a date with is Hob Assef, beginning on Tuesday 30 October, 7pm (KSA) which charts the seemingly innocent summer affair between two young people, Lera and Artem, that turns into a series of bloody assassinations.

Kadia Rakam 23 (The Insult)
This highly accliamed and Oscar-nominated movie premieres on Friday 12 October, 11pm (KSA). The story, set in Beirut, shows how an insult blown out of proportions finds Toni, a Lebanese Christian, and Yasser, a Palestinian refugee, in court.

Doctor Who, season 11
Coming to MENA screens at the same time as the UK, the new series of Doctor Who premieres on Sunday 7 October 9.45pm (KSA), exclusively on BBC First, introducing Jodie Whittaker as the the most recent incarnation of the Doctor, an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space.
COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS: كوميدي عالواقف S3
Arab stand-up comedians from around the world perform in Arabic and English on Sunday 7 October, 9.30pm (KSA) and 10.30pm (UAE), on Comedy Central HD. Each episode features three exciting performers giving a regional flavour to comedy.
NEW: X-Men Pop Up Channel, 19 October - 3 November
OSN is launching the first ever-dedicated X-Men movies up-up channel in the Middle East - OSN Pop Up HD X-Men, available on channel 7. All eight X-Men movies including the premiere of the latest X-Men offering – Logan, will be available to watch back-to-back, 24 hours a day over three weekends. The movies will also be available via OSN Play and On Demand.
