The carrier is the first airline partner in the 55-year history of the European Football Championship, and has launched a number of initiatives to excite fans throughout this summer’s tournament. The carrier’s #EuropesBest campaign highlighted the best football fans from across the continent for UEFA EURO 2016TM. It included television commercials, unique plane liveries, ticket giveaways and a dedicated microsite. Live matches were available to watch on Turkish Airlines planes and fans and tourists were able to enjoy striking branding across some of Paris’s most famous landmarks, including the Champs Elysees. Turkish Airlines ignited passion in Europe's football fans by taking David Guetta's UEFA EURO 2016™ anthem to the 24 competing nations.
Turkish Airlines were also driving excitement by welcoming players on to the pitch. Cabin Crew brought their world class customer service to the football field by featuring two hostesses at all 51 matches of the competition.
