As of June 1st, a full month before other carriers – Turkish Airlines features the film ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’on its inflight entertainment systems. The high-grossing movie includes a pivotal scene aboard a Turkish Airlines Boeing 777 jet.
The movie will premiere on select routes of the airline with the most extensive country coverage in the world, 115 countries and 289 destinations. Travelers can enjoy a range of inflight entertainment on Turkish Airlines’ flights including movies, music, games and more.
Ahmet Olmuştur, Turkish Airlines’ Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) said: “We are pleased to be the first airline to offer Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to our passengers. The movie portrays a sense of adventure which is also shared by Turkish Airlines passengers who have a desire to widen their world.”
Turkish Airlines is the official airline partner of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and sponsored the movie’s worldwide premiere at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall in March 2016. In April, the world-famous, iconic Batmobile was brought to Istanbul by Turkish Airlines to travel cross-continental for the first time via the new bridge of Istanbul; ‘Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge’ over the Bosphorus. In addition to the film, Turkish Airlines has brought the movie experience to fans inflight through limited-edition Turkish Airlines Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice-themed amenity kits; a Time Out travel guide for the airline’s newest “destinations”, Gotham City and Metropolis; onboard menu items; and a special edition frequent flyer Miles&Smiles card.
