Held under the patronage of the UAE’s Ministry of Infrastructure Development, the 6thedition of the Arab Future Cities Summit, organized by Expotrade Middle East will be held on 16-17 September 2019 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai.
According to industry reports released earlier this year, smart city investments in technologies are expected to reach $2.30 billion by the year 2021. The event will showcase a unique platform that will enable urban leaders, city planners, innovators and developers to gain fresh perspectives and explore the new opportunities, offerings and pressing challenges in the smart city space.
Against this backdrop, the upcoming edition of the conference will revolve around topics on the power of data sharing, the future of mobility and urban transportation, creating data-driven smart infrastructure cities, implementing smart, cyber-secure government models, and challenges in using AI and IoT to empower cities digitally.
The program agenda will also emphasize on UAE’s smart city initiatives and the success of programs such as UAEPass initiative, Dubai Blockchain Strategy, and Dubai Paperless Strategy, to name a few.
The 2019 event is anticipated to be a bigger success converging a greater number of attendees to discuss and understand the potential solutions that can reshape the way cities function and create a better path to achieving smart city goals. The Arab Future Cities Summit remains the leading smart cities event in the region with unparalleled networking opportunities, along with immense scope for learning about new projects and the latest innovations set to transform the Emirate into the smartest city in the world.
