UAE wedding planners set sight on Mauritius as preferred destination
More and more elite wedding professionals from the UAE are considering Mauritius as a preferred destination for clients looking to hold their wedding ceremonies abroad, according to organisers of this year’s Destination Wedding Planners Congress (DWP) Congress.
Organised by QnA International, the exclusive event, to be held from 14 to 15 April 2015 at the 5-star luxury hotel LUX* Belle Mare in Mauritius, will bring together the Top 100 elite wedding planners from over 50 countries, as well as some of the world’s finest wedding suppliers.
One of the renowned names in the UAE wedding planning circle who will take part in the DWP Congress is Ali Bakhtiar, who has developed a client base that includes royalties, socialites and business moguls from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, India and Thailand.
“Destination weddings are great way to ensure you have a wedding that is decidedly you, and the trend is gaining traction,” said Ackash Jain, Director of QnA International. “Over the past years, DWP Congress has become an important global platform for companies in the bespoke wedding industry to network with peers from other destinations.”
This year’s DWP Congress highlights Mauritius growing importance as a preferred overseas wedding destination by couples from the UAE and elsewhere in the world looking for a romantic and idyllic venue to hold their special day.
