Vod Dubai 2017: Quality, Design and Innovation in Jewellery at the Italian Pavilion Organized by Ita

Known for its celebrity following and luxury status, Italian jewellery dominates red carpet events and important functions globally. Now, visitors to VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show from November 15-18, 2017 can enjoy a vast collection of unique design inspirations from 29 leading Italian jewellery companies, participating at the Italian pavilion at the event. 
The 288 m² pavilion, which is one of the largest country pavilions at the show, is organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).


Highlighting a variety of aspirational designs that have made Italian jewellery the hallmark of luxury and creativity globally, participating companies look to gain a strong foothold in the UAE jewellery industry which is the second most important market for Italian jewellery sector, with exports to UAE equaling Euro 904 million in 2016, a 14.5% share of the total jewellery export business of Italy.


Italian Trade Agency is a strategic partner of VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show 2017. Official opening of the pavilion will be held in the presence of the Italian Ambassador, the Consul General of Italy in Dubai, and the Trade Commissioner of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).


According to Gianpaolo Bruno, Trade Commissioner to the UAE, Oman and Pakistan at the Italian Trade Agency: “Our participation at VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show, a premier event targeted at both trade and consumer segments, underlines our commitment to this region and our strong belief in the potential for Italian jewellery companies to make further inroads into this market. Consumers in this region have historically had an affiliation for jewellery which is an integral part of the local culture. This has progressed into a strong demand for unique, luxury jewellery which is what Italian jewellery industry is known for. At our pavilion you can find a curated collection of the finest jewellery, some handcrafted by the best craftsmen; statement pieces and a collection of timepieces and gifting items.”


Boasting about 10,000 jewellery companies and 40,000 employees, the Italian jewellery industry is a pillar of its national economy, with a total turnover of 7.8 billion € and 6.2 billion € of exports in 2016. Italian jewellery is cherished for its quality, innovation and unique designs.


The Italian pavilion at VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show, will be located at stands H205 and H203 at ZA’ABEEL Hall 4 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The show itself promises to be a great platform for networking, with over 500 brands from 25 different countries participating.
