‘VOX CINEMAS’ ANNOUNCED AS EXCLUSIVE CINEMA PARTNER OF INAUGURAL RED SEA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

 The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) is proud to announce VOX Cinemas, the dedicated cinema arm of Majid Al Futtaim, as the exclusive cinema partner of its first-ever edition. Soon to become the international platform in Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea International Film Festival celebrates excellence in film and the collaboration consolidates Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to realize the goals of Vision 2030 and make cinema accessible to communities across the Kingdom. 

Launching just after a global pandemic with 138 films from 67 Countries and 25 world premieres, the Red Sea International Film Festival will be generously supported by VOX Cinemas, who will be operating the cinemas at the festival headquarters in Al Balad. In addition to dedicating more than three state-of-the-art theatres at Red Sea Mall, VOX Cinemas will be offering a unique and much anticipated experience for movie lovers and cinema audiences. 

Being a pioneer in cinema within the MENA region, VOX Cinemas’ partnership with the Red Sea International Film Festival constitutes a union of two cinematic innovators to provide a show-stopping experience for festival guests and both regional and global audiences. VOX Cinemas is a long-standing supporter of the local cinema industry and has expanded swiftly across the Kingdom in recent years to provide accessibility to cinema lovers across Saudi Arabia. It is currently the largest exhibitor by screen count with 154 screens across 15 movie theatres in six cities and, will accelerate its pace of growth next year as part of its ambitious expansion plans and commitment to support local job creation.
