Winter at Tantora Festival revealed the latest excursion for history lovers and exploration enthusiasts, a unique journey from land to the Red Sea Islands on board a luxury yacht.
This adventure, which provides the highest levels of indulgence, is the latest addition to this year's season of the festival. The festival is organised by the Royal Commission for AlUla and celebrates the cultural and historical heritage of humanity.
The luxurious adventure begins along the path of the ancient incense road, which dates back to the Nabataean period, in AlUla and the historical city of Al-Hejer, passes through a Nabataean port overlooking the Red Sea and then moves on a three-day sail on a luxury yacht. During the adventure, guests will have the opportunity to learn and uncover the secrets of diverse civilisations, visit islands whose mysteries are yet to be revealed and experience the ancient history of the region in all its richness.
The explorers of this incredible adventure will be able to visit the islands of Dahra, which is a group of archipelagic islands consisting of coral reefs and sandy beaches and is home to many mangroves. With its picturesque charm, these islands are considered a natural haven for different types of rare coral reefs, while sea turtles and birds live on their shores.
Adventurers can explore this unique environment through a selection of exciting experiences while a barbecued meal awaits them upon their return.
For diving enthusiasts, there will be a diving experience to learn about the wonders and magic of the world under the Red Sea. In shallow waters, the colours are brighter and aquatic life thrives.
