The Women in Cyber Security Middle East (WiCSME) steps up to the challenge of filling the cybersecurity workforce gap by supporting and encouraging girls and women to enter and grow their careers in cybersecurity.
With more than 900 members spanning the Middle East and North Africa, WiCSME is proud to invite you at its 1st Virtual WiCSME2020 Conference on November 14-15, with the theme “To Empower and Secure Together.” With the participation of more than 50 female speakers representing Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, Arab and international Countries.
The aim of the WiCSME2020 conference is to bring the women in the field of Cybersecurity in the Middle East and the world to the forefront of international stage by creating a robust platform for empowering these women and connect them with international and regional thought leaders and peers, thus helping them achieve their professional goals.
The conference includes numerous keynote speeches, panel discussions, technical and non-technical sessions, and various discussion angles covering common and critical topics in cybersecurity by all speakers from various local, Gulf, Arab and international countries.
For the first time ever, the WiCSME2020 Awards for recognizing and celebrating the distinguished and remarkable women in the field of cybersecurity within the Middle East region through several different categories, including: Women Cyber Security Thought Leader, Woman Cyber Security Executive, Woman Cyber Security Consultant, Woman Cyber Security Rising Star, Woman Cyber Security Community Supporter and Woman Cyber Security Hero, and the judges of these awards are distinguished names locally, regionally and internationally of both genders.
The conference also includes the Capture the Flag competition (CTF) with more than 600 contestants which will be held from 12 to 13 November, and the winning teams will be announced on the 2nd day of the conference, 15 November 2020, Each participating team must include at least one woman. The competition is available to citizens and residents of the Middle East region only.
