WYNDHAM DUBAI DEIRA AND SUPER 8 BY WYNDHAM DUBAI DEIRA ANNOUNCE SENIOR APPOINTMENTS

Wyndham® announces cluster appointments for Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira, the first hotels to launch as part of the Deira Enrichment Project 

Wyndham®, the world’s largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,300 hotels across 90 countries, has appointed Thierry Perrot as the Cluster General Manager of Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira, among other senior leaders. In his role, Perrot oversees the first two properties launching as part of the incredibly ambitious Deira Enrichment project. Thierry brings over 39 years of hospitality experience to the table, with expertise in acquisition and disposal, hotel openings, regional and cluster management, crisis and contingency plan management, as well as organization development. 

A numbers man at heart, Thierry joined the Intercontinental Hotel Group in 1981 as part of the finance department and after 15 years of steady climbing the corporate ladder he was appointed Regional Director of Finance at InterContinental Hotels, Indonesia, in 1996. It was here that Thierry was granted the opportunity to step into a role with a broader scope, as the Resident Manager of one of the group’s hotels in Indonesia. After many successful ventures in the hospitality industry in countries including France, England, Switzerland, Indonesia, Egypt, South Korea, and the UAE; Thierry was delighted to join the Wyndham Hotel Group this year and settle in Dubai. 

Overseeing Finance for both Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira, Krzysztof Grzelak is the Cluster Director of Finance. Krzysztof is an experienced finance professional who has demonstrated achievements in managing large teams in multinational and multicultural environments in Poland, Tajikistan, and the United Arab Emirates. 

Heading up Sales and Marketing, is Khaled Amer who holds over 24 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry. As such he oversees the business development, sales function, and all new projects and strategies for the two hotels. Ghaith Adnan, a marketing professional with over seven years of hospitality, F&B marketing experience handles day-to-day marketing activities including marketing, public relations, social media, special events and activations. 

Leading Wyndham Dubai Deira and Super 8 by Wyndham Dubai Deira’s selection of F&B outlets is Executive Chef Ilker Yokus who brings a wealth of culinary knowledge and around 20 years of industry experience to the table. In his capacity, he leads the kitchen operations of both the hotel’s dining outlets. He will be supported by the talented, Helen Xiao, Food & Beverage Manager who has orchestrated the smooth opening and subsequent operations of all bars and restaurants. 

Other notable appointments include, Prakash Nakarmi, Cluster Director of Engineering, Paarth Mathur, Cluster Director of Human Resources, Adrian Gauci, Cluster Director of IT, Ankur Raj, Cluster Revenue Manager, Edina Torkos, Cluster Security Manager, Trishna Hundal, Cluster Executive Housekeeper, and Wassim Abdennadher, Front Office Manager. Together the team will work hand-in-hand to ensure the success of both Deira based properties.
