Wyndham hotels in Ajman certified CovidClean™ by Safehotels

Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche, Ramada by Wyndham Beach Hotel Ajman, and Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman received the CovidClean™ certification issued by Safehotels.

Ramada by Wyndham Beach Hotel Ajman is the first hotel in the emirate to secure the certification. All three properties completed and passed the on-site audit conducted by SafeHotels, the world’s leading hotel safety and security certification company. Valid for a year, the certification is granted to properties which adhere to the CovidClean™ Standard of Safehotels Alliance AB.

Ravi Santiago, cluster general manager, commented: “The hospitality sector is witnessing gradually recovery, and certifications such as these help us in reinforcing trust and confidence among local guests and international travellers. We as hoteliers must adapt to the new normal and we will continue to assess our protocols to safeguard the health and safety of both our guests and staff.” 

The hotels’ safety and preventive measures include: temperature check and use of thermal cameras at the entry points; disinfection of luggage and use of UV sanitizer for mobile phones; wearing of masks and other personal protective equipment based on the associates’ tasks; disinfection of all touchpoints in the hotels’ public areas; and placement of hand sanitizers and signages to remind guests to practice physical distancing. The hotels also ensure that the rooms are thoroughly sanitised before allowing new guests to check-in.
