Dana Mall has finalized the "Young Engineer" event that was held lately at the mall's premises by announcing the winners of the activity. The event has been highly received by the participating children and Yanbu locals. The event was held for 4 consecutive days and witnessed a remarkable competition between the participating children, who were engaged in multiple activities, as they participated in building sky rockets made of sticks, miniature sky scrapers, were able to successfully construct a floating boat, navigation, and many more activities, which mall visitors has found interesting, and believed that it would be an opportunity to unveil the potential of the new generation.
Eng. Rayan Hindy, Senior Marketing Manager of Kenan Developers, the operating company of Dana Mall at Yanbu's Royal Commission, expressed his contentment with the wide audience presence, and the creative potential of Yanbu’s children. To shed more light on the event he elaborated, "our goal from launching the "Young Engineer" event is to inspire those children to realize their potential through a safe, competitive, and a joyful environment. We believe that our children have promising potential, and limitless creative skills that are to aspire, should they find an encouraging platform and capabilities to discover them. Therefore, we were keen on providing all the required means at the event. We were highly pleased with the result."
More than 700 children participated in the "Young Engineer" event from different age groups that varied from 4 to 16 year olds. They all competed in different activities such as, astrology, chemistry, game design, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. The winning participants were distinguished with medals and honorary prizes.
