The policies of our nation’s wise leaders have in the past few decades paved the way for Emirati women to confidently play their role in advancing the UAE’s growth and development as a modern, dynamic nation. Emirati women currently work in sectors as diverse as civil aviation, security and justice, and hold prominent places within the nation’s diplomatic corps and the business world. Since its launch in 2006, Dubai Women Establishment has played an active role in nurturing the next generation of Emirati women leaders – to enable them to continue the efforts of their pioneering predecessors while simultaneously serving as role models to young women in the wider society. In the past few years, Dubai Women Establishment has successfully organized and conducted programs, interactive seminars, training sessions and forums aimed at encouraging more women to join the active work force while simultaneously equipping them with the skills to fulfil their traditional duties as wives and mothers. Dubai Women Establishment strives to help Emirati women balance stimulating careers with a satisfying family life through the endorsement of appropriate gender-equality policies and initiatives, providing life-long opportunities for training and work and promoting greater participation of women in the economic and political sphere. The ultimate goal and responsibility of Dubai Women Establishment is to nurture a competent generation of future women leaders by establishing the right infrastructure and platform to ensure and sustain the success and potential of UAE women.
