Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City is one of the non-profitable projects of Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation. The City was established as a rehabilitation Hospital and a medical center to meet the patients needs. Its size, its technical and human resources as well as its specialized and intensive services in the field of rehabilitation made it the biggest rehabilitation facility in the Middle East Region. It spreads over 1,000,000 square meters and is located in northern Riyadh. It was officially inaugurated on the thirtieth of October of 2002. The City provides state of the art services that are based on the international standards for rehabilitation medicine utilizing modern and advanced medical technology, both for children and adults, with a highly experienced medical team and a 462 specialized bed capacity offering the best quality health care for our patients. Moreover, the city is taking advanced steps in the medical rehabilitation field through implementing the highest international quality standards by the joint commission international (JCI) and the commission on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities (CARF), and providing evidence and best medical practices based care. The city also added new standards of care to meet the special needs of its patients.
