Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman AlFadley, launched 11 development projects in Hail, today, July 21, with the total value exceeding SAR 642 million.
These projects will enhance water supplies and rationalize consumption, the minister said.
He added that the ministry is working on laying the foundation stone for 22 environmental, water and agricultural projects in Hail, which will cost SAR 842 million.
These projects are part of the framework of enhancing, sustaining and securing water sources in reliable quantities and of high quality, expanding and treating sewage networks, eliminating environmental damage, and developing the Saudi agricultural sector.
The water, environmental and agricultural projects that were launched will contribute to increasing coverage rates for water services, keeping pace with the growing demand for water services, improving the quality of services provided, and raising operational efficiency in water transportation and distribution, the minister stated.
