Alissa Auto shows fleet, government clients around Nissan’s innovative Yokohama production lines
Continuing a tradition of unique and unprecedented excellence in customer care, Alissa Auto, a member of Abdullatif Alissa Group Holding Company and Nissan’s official dealer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, took its fleet and government clients on a tour of Nissan’s Japanese headquarters in Takashima, Nishi-Ku and Yokohama.
Alissa’s clients met with Nissan’s top management and were given a tour on the global automaker’s new production lines, where they got to experience the production process first-hand.
“This is a rare and unprecedented move by an automaker,” said Waleed Al Hamdan, Director of Government Sales at Alissa. “Our clients got to see their favorite vehicles as they were being produced and got a feel of the latest technology right at the production lines.”
The clients also met with Nissan’s top management at the company’s headquarters, where they were given a briefing on the company’s manufacturing, assembly processes and the brand new production lines. They were also given a preview of upcoming technology at Nissan and the automotive world at large.
The group also visited Nissan’s production facility, where they were amazed with the latest technical advancements and innovations in vehicle production and assembly. Nissan’s factory is capable of producing 31 vehicles an hour without any involvement of manpower.
The visitors got preview Nissan’s latest 2015 model vehicles, showcasing their innovative accessories, high-tech safety gear and compelling designs.
Mr. Al Hamdan added that the visit brought the company’s clients up to speed on the latest passenger and commercial vehicle products, bolstering their already solid confidence in the Nissan brand.
He pointed out that the visit strengthened ties and sales leads with clients. A number of meetings between representatives of Alissa and Nissan’s management, in which mutual relations and new initiatives were discussed that would help attract new clients and retain existing ones by instilling the Nissan brand in the public psyche.
Nissan’s top management praised Alissa’s initiative to organize the visit, citing the importance of fostering stronger ties with fleet and government clients and the impact on Nissan’s expansion in sales and services throughout the Kingdom.
