Balady Poultry Trading Co. signed a supply, installation, supervision and operation contract with Denmark’s Haarslev Co. to provide solid waste treatment lines from the poultry slaughterhouse, for a total value of EUR 6.99 million (SAR 27.4 million).
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the contract is valid for 60 weeks, noting that it will be supplying waste treatment lines for 500,000 birds per day.
The financial impact cannot be determined at this stage, and any material developments will be announced in due course, the statement added.
Balady further indicated that Haarslev is one of the world’s leading companies in the treatment of solid poultry waste.
