Dr. Loay Ahmed Al-Musallam, NWC CEO, inspected Company facilities at the Hajj sites with several executive directors to ensure their readiness to provide the best services to pilgrims. This visit came within the framework of NWC’s plans to facilitate its operations during this year’s Hajj season. The preparations are being monitored closely by HE Eng. Abdullah Al-Hussain, Minister of Water and Electricity and Chairman of the NWC Board of Directors, as well as members of the Board.
This visit also came within the framework of the preparations of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide all means for receiving pilgrims and delivering to them the best services to ensure their comfort and enjoy an easy Hajj.
NWC assured that government authorities, represented by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, Crown Prince and President of the High Hajj Committee; and HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, President of the Central Hajj Committee, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah, spared no effort in cooperating with NWC to facilitate the work executed in the Holy Masha’er (the Holy Sites of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah) for serving the pilgrims.
Eng. Abdullah Hassanain, Director of MTBU, said this executive visit had the purpose of closely inspecting all general facilities managed by NWC in Masha’er. In addition, the Company’s Hajj Committee held several meetings and workshops to track the preparations and plans for the Hajj season. This was in order to meet government expectations that pilgrims are provided with all services from their first day in the Kingdom until they go home after performing their rites.
He explained that the visit covered several NWC locations in Masha’er and the executive team would perform several continuous visits to inspect the services rendered to pilgrims until their departure.
