The National Water Company (NWC) has completed its preparations for the holy month of Ramadan 1446H. NWC plans to distribute about 10 million cubic meters of water per day in all regions and cities of the Kingdom during the holy month. The aim is to provide the largest amount of water to the people of the regions and their visitors during Ramadan, which usually witnessed a significant increase in the demand for water.
The company pointed out that it prepared early with an operational plan for water management and distribution that ensures, God willing, the continuation of optimal service provision. NWC noted that the work plan included equipping the manpower working in the operation centers that will work continuously to serve them and meet their needs. The company mentioned that the plan for this year's Ramadan season included allocating operation and maintenance teams equipped with modern tools and machinery to deal with emergencies and technical failures, in addition to preparing filling stations "Ashyab" and their contents in various cities and governorates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
"Our preparations and readiness include receiving customer requests through our e-channels represented by the National Water mobile app or through the e-branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number (8004411110) for water services in all regions of the Kingdom 24 hours to receive reports and pass them to maintenance teams that will work around the clock to ensure timely response, God willing," NWC said.
The company explained that there is direct and continuous coordination with partners in the Kingdom's water system to distribute the cities' quotas of desalinated water and ensure its continuity during the month of Ramadan.
