The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers participates in the Third Forum of Organizing (Awqaf)

The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) participates in the activities of the third forum of organizing the religious endowments, which is organized by the Endowments Committee in Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh, on Sunday and Monday 5th and 6th Jumaada Al Thanny 1437 AH, corresponding to 14th and 15th February 2016, at the king Faisal Conference Hall in Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. And that is under the patronage of His Excellency the Religious Affairs and Endowments and Dawa and Guidance Minister, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Endowments, Al Sheikh Saleh bin Abd al aziz Al Sheikh.

The Authority will participate represented by its Secretary General Mr. Issam Al Mubarak, through worksheet entitled "the Valuation Authorities and Their Roles in Maintaining Endowments", and that in the second day of the forum, aiming at indentifying the role of valuation, and the importance of the valuation authorities in supporting and developing Endowments, and the aspects of their benefits, and the services and the facilities which is provided to achieve the general purposes of the forum, which will be manifested in diversity and attendance, and the great  interaction from the officials, the specialized judges, the donors and researches in this field, and presenting the legitimate  legal charitable investment vision, aiming at developing the endowments sector.

About the Authority participation, the Secretary General of (Taqeem) clarified that by focusing on the main purpose of the forum, which calls for the activation of partnership between sectors and the bodies related to the endowments field, and due to the Authority's keenness to extend the bridge of cooperation and communication with all the bodies concerned with advancing the valuation profession in the kingdom "we were keen to participate in the forum in his third period, addressing all the participants and the attendance, introducing them the strategic dimensions of valuation according to the international standards, where we work in Taqeem on qualifying number of accredited valuers. 641 people have gained the temporary membership from the Authority till now, and they will have noticeable and prominent role in the Saudi market generally and particularly in the endowments field.

Al Mubarak adds; "we are fully aware of the high value which will be provided by the forum through the worksheets, which will be presented in the framework of  the legislative and legal environment studies for the endowments projects in kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and participating in developing them, addressing the main practical problems of the endowments projects, analyzing them, suggesting the suitable practical and scientific solutions for them, putting forward the national local and international special experiences in the endowments field and suggesting practical mechanisms to help the business men and women and the donors to organize their endowments, which will support the valuation side of it positively, in a way that benefits the market and the valuers and preserve the rights of all.

The organizational committee of the Third Endowments Forum will consist of The Head of The Scientific Committee, the Lawyer Mohamed bin Ahmad Al Zamel, and The Head of The Organizational Committee Mr. Mohamed Abdalrahman Al Akeel, and except (Taqeem) worksheet, the Forum will include papers of the Endowments Charity, the expecting role of General Authority of Awqaf, the instrument of endowment, the contemporary implementations in the endowment investments, the endowment companies projects and non-profit organizations, the endowments of the Two Holy Mosques, the role of human resources in the development of endowments, the Turkish experience in the field of endowments, the  institutional excellence, and the reality of endowments in Saudi Arabia in the field of legislation and regulations, social development and charities.

It worth mentioning that this participation is the first one for (Taqeem) in Endowments Forum in its third period, and the Authority seeks in its current strategy to participate in the distribution of the valuation culture and valuers, and raising the level of profession in the market for its important impact in building solid economy.
