The General Sports Authority (GSA) is preparing to host the 36th Spanish Football Super Cup, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, during 8-12/1/2019. The Spanish Super Cup will be played between four teams for the first time in the trophy's history.
FC Barcelona, winner of LaLiga last season; Valencia CF, winner of Copa del Rey; Atlético Madrid, second place in LaLiga; and Real Madrid CF, third place in LaLiga will compete for the Spanish Super Cup.
Real Madrid will face Valencia on January 8, while Barcelona against Atlético Madrid on January 9 in the semi-final.
The winners of the two matches will qualify for the Spanish Super Cup Final to be held on January 12.
