The "Riyadh Declaration" issued by the Riyadh Global Digital Health Summit has outlined an effective practical plan that would enable health care systems around the world to cope with epidemics.
The Riyadh Declaration included basic ideas and recommendations prepared during the summit by a number of international pioneers in the fields of health care systems, public health, digital health and academic and business institutions.
At the conclusion of the summit, Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah delivered a speech focusing on digital health's importance due to its fundamental role in supporting health emergency management and strengthening the current response mechanisms.
