The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) in its 31st edition with more than 400 titles in various fields of cultural heritage.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the institute, stated that the publishing of this qualitative amount of books falls within the comprehensive and integrated cultural vision of the SIH, which aims to provide the cultural arena with valuable book that take into account standards and generally accepted academic regulations in the field of publishing, consistent with the Sharjah’s cultural project.
"This comes is in line with the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to build bridges of knowledge through books," he added.
He went on to say the SIH is working to enrich the cultural scene and the Emirati and Arab library with rich and varied titles in the fields of culture, history, anthropology and other fields on every occasion.
He noted that this participation is the second in the ADIBF, hoping it will achieve a qualitative addition with what SIH offers from various titles.
