KFIA receives 250,000 passengers from Dhul-Hijjah 1

Dammam Airports Co. (DACO) stated that King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) received 250,000 passengers on Dhul-Hijjah 1-8, an increase of nearly 11% compared to the same period last year, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The company added this was via more than 2,000 flights, a rise of 15% compared with a year before.

CEO of DACO Mohammed Al Hassany said the company is working to improve the passenger experience in the airports it manages and operates in the Eastern Province, including King Fahd International Airport and Al-Ahsa International Airport.

He added that 11 new direct destinations were added in 2023, bringing the total number of destinations from and to King Fahd International Airport to 61.
