The sport equestrian’s friends met in Doha this weekend for the 15th and finale leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour. The best riders of the world gave the best of theirself to try to win not only the various competitions of the weekend but also the title of the entire 2015 serie. On Saturday, Luciana Diniz on Fit For Fun celebrated a great victory at the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha. The Portuguese Rider was also declared winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2015. Longines is the Title Partner, the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch of the event.
Gathering the best international riders in the most beautiful cities of the world for fifteen legs, the Longines Global Champions Tour ended in a blaze of glory in Doha after visited Miami Beach, Shanghai, Paris, London or Roma. The finale, held in Doha for the seventh time, took place on November 12 to 14. On Saturday the Portuguese rider Luciana Diniz on Fit For Fun won the highlight competition of the weekend, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha. He was rewarded with an elegant Longines watch given by the President of the Swiss brand, Walter Von Känel.
As the Qatar leg marked the end of the season, the results obtained by the riders enabled the establishment of the finale 2015 overall Longines Global Champions Tour ranking classification. Luciana Deniz (Portugal) was declared winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2015, while Scott Brash (UK) arrived second and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (Sweden) third. To honour their successes, all three received Longines watches.
