Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co., the Ford and Lincoln sole-dealer in Saudi Arabia, awarded a Ford Econoline van to the winner of the “Best Food Truck Project”, an Al Jazirah Vehicles initiative that encourages young Saudi food truck entrepreneurs.
Young Saudi Entrepreneurs have shown particular interest in the food truck business and this initiative from Al Jazirah Vehicles confirms the company’s eagerness to support Saudi youth in the areas they are passionate about. This was clearly seen with the submission of more than 400 projects to the (Best Food Truck Project), many of them characterized by creativity and a high standard of service and excellence.
Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies announced the winner of the contest during the “Araba” food truck festival, a gathering for food trucks and food entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, organized by the Land & Space Aviation School in Riyadh. The award was presented to the (Chapatti Chef) food truck team by Mr. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Kraidees, Deputy CEO for Al Jazirah Vehicles. Al Kraidees congratulated the winning team and said: “We are proud of these young people, who represent a large segment of entrepreneurs in the Food Truck sector, and through this initiative we are keen to support the Saudi youth to demonstrate their creativity and talents. Our youth are the backbone of the national economy, and with them we are certain to build a strong and creative community."
Mr. Mishal Saleh Al Aqeel from (Chapatti Chef) team expressed his gratitude to Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies for presenting his team with Ford’s Econoline van and also appreciated Al Jazirah Vehicle’s initiative and their support to the youth in Saudi Arabia.
