Alawwal bank has furthered its support for the Saudi Deaf Sport Federation as part of its program of giving back to communities Kingdom-wide. The bank’s sponsorship includes a SR355,000 donation towards the federation’s Annual Activities Program for centres for deaf girls across the Kingdom.
Federation’s Annual Activities Program, provides sports, educational, recreational, cultural and social activities for young girls with hearing difficulties. This includes translation services such as lip reading, facial expression training and sign language.
Saeed Al-Qahtani, Head of Saudi Deaf Sports Federation, said: ‘We are delighted that Alawwal bank continue to recognise and support our efforts to help the deaf community be included in everyday life and the enjoyment of sports. Having large organisations offer their help is essential to helping us extend our support to those that need it most.”

The bank’s recent donation, follows previous packages of financial aid to support the Federation’s initiatives to promote inclusiveness and compassion in the Saudi community.
The Saudi Deaf Sports Federation was established in 1980in Saudi Arabia and supports around 720000people annually.
