Dubai Courts showcased its "Digital Notary Public Services" at GITEX Global 2024. This initiative leverages technological capabilities to bring about a significant transformation in the legal and judicial services sector, thereby enhancing the sustainability and effectiveness of the services it offers. The ultimate goal is to align with Dubai's vision of evolving into an advanced global platform that provides cutting-edge services to support its sustainable future growth and solidify its position as a leading global destination in the realms of technology and innovation.
Mr. Ahmed Khalaf Al-Hosani, Director of the Notary Public Department at Dubai Courts, highlighted that Dubai Courts, represented by the Notary Public Department, have successfully delivered outstanding digital services to its clients in 2024. Such an achievement has significantly enhanced client satisfaction and happiness. The initiative is part of their strategy to ensure effective justice and provide accessible judicial services to all.
Al-Hosani revealed the department had completed a significant volume of digital transactions with efficiency and precision. The total number of public notary public digital transactions reached 147,791, while the number of private notary public digital transactions amounted to 119,911, propelling the digital transformation rate for notary public services in Dubai to an impressive 99.43%.
Furthermore, Al-Hosani clarified that approximately (13840) clients were received by the department, and 9441 individuals were provided with services. Al-Hosani also affirmed the Courts' commitment to launching diverse channels for providing notary public services, fostering innovative and interactive solutions that cater to client needs and elevate their satisfaction. This endeavor aligns with the goal of providing superior services that enhance the quality of life and reinforce the nation’s standing in global competitiveness rankings.
Clients can access the digital notary public services, such as powers of attorney, declarations, judicial notifications, and contracts, through the Dubai Courts' website via a registered user account. Additionally, these services are available through various channels, including 85 Special Notary Public strategically distributed across Dubai to ensure comprehensive coverage. Other service channels include law firms and Al-Adheed Centers, which are accredited by Dubai Courts to provide specific judicial services. General notary public services are also accessible at Wafi Mall and Al Barsha Traffic Department, reinforcing the courts' commitment to achieving the highest standards of client happiness by providing judicial services that meet the most rigorous standards of governmental excellence.
Al-Howsani clarified that these achievements are part of the Dubai Courts’ strategy to enhance digital transformation and provide smart, easily accessible services. These efforts reflect the courts’ commitment to realizing the Dubai Government’s vision of transitioning into a smart city. They are also part of ongoing endeavors to boost the efficiency of judicial services and achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction.
