Taif Season is bringing cinema back to the region, with a selection of the latest and most famous Arab and international films being shown in an innovative, open-air format, allowing viewers to benefit from the moderate weather in the “Arab Summer Resort.”
The Egyptian Pavilion, currently being hosted in the Arab Neighborhood of Souk Okaz during Taif Season, has attracted a large number of visitors from Arab countries, looking to enjoy the traditional products, authentic artworks and delicious cuisine.
The Pavilion, which runs through August, delivers a unique experience, taking visitors directly to the pulse of life in Egypt, with authentic details and character that create an “Egyptian Neighborhood” in the heart of ancient Egypt. Tourists can sample the famous Egyptian markets, with products specially brought from Cairo, Alexandria and Nubia markets.
Visitors are also attracted by authentic Egyptian folk performances, with artists coming from all over Egypt, as well as concerts on the weekend featuring the most beautiful Arab singing.
There has been huge interest in Egyptian cafes and shops that have emulated the real atmosphere of their counterparts in Egypt, especially those that opened specifically for the launch of Souk Okaz.
